  1. "Fill in security credentials": Permanent credentials (IAM user or AWS account root user) or temporary credentials (temporary access credentials issued through AWS STS)

  2. "Confirm Zone": Confirm the name of the zone to be imported and the number of records.

  3. "Confirm Records": Confirm the records to be imported. Records based on failover, IP-based, and latency routing policies are not supported and will not be imported. Records based on geolocation routing policies require adding default records.

  4. "Import Data": After successful import, you can view the imported zone on the Hosted Zone page.
