  1. Hosted Zone

    1. For the hosted zone, the domain name can only include the following characters:

      1. a-z

      2. 0-9

      3. -(hyphen)

    2. Must not start or end with a hyphen (-), and letter case is not significant.

    3. Each label in a DNS record must not exceed 63 characters in length, and the total length of the record, including the labels and the dots separating them, must not exceed 230 characters.

    4. The hosted zone cannot be Top-level domain name(TLD)

    5. For the PTR Zone, it must end with the suffix in-addr.arpa or ip6.arpa.

  2. Domain Record

    1. For the domain records, the domain name can only include the following characters:

      1. a-z

      2. 0-9

      3. -(hyphen)

      4. _(underline)

    2. Must not start or end with a hyphen (-), and letter case is not significant.

    3. Each label in a DNS record must not exceed 63 characters in length, and the total length of the record, including the labels and the dots separating them, must not exceed 230 characters.
